Rebranding Proxectar 2026, building a visual identity from the square to the screen

Brand Identity, Motion Design, Typography, Digital Design, Event Graphics

Proxectar is a small but ambitious industrial design festival based in Galicia, Spain. For its second edition, we were invited to create a completely new identity system that could establish the festival’s visual presence while embracing its evolving and experimental nature.

The identity takes inspiration from one of Panxón’s most recognisable visual elements: the iconic square grid pattern found across its seafront promenade. Starting from this local reference, we developed a graphic language that explores the square in its most radical expression.

The square became more than a shape. It became a method. Repeated, stretched, fragmented and animated, it generated a flexible system capable of adapting across every festival touchpoint while maintaining a strong and recognisable character.

Because much of Proxectar’s communication happens digitally, motion became a central element of the identity rather than an extension of it. The visual system was conceived primarily through motion graphics, allowing compositions to continuously transform while remaining rooted in the same geometric structure. Static applications emerge from movement, creating an identity that feels alive, dynamic and responsive to contemporary cultural formats.

For a festival at an early stage of its journey, the challenge was not scale but clarity: creating an identity capable of giving Proxectar a strong cultural presence while staying connected to its local context.
