Imagine a place tucked away between majestic mountains and the endless blue of the Atlantic. That’s Oia, a hidden treasure in Galicia, Spain, filled with wild beaches and flavours that stay with you. When the local council asked us to breathe new life into their brand identity, we didn't just want to make a logo; we wanted to create a warm "welcome home" for everyone who visits.

A logo you can make your own

We wanted Oia’s new look to feel as inclusive and friendly as its people. Our logo design literally stacks the town’s name vertically, creating a shape that looks like a playful rag doll. It’s a "living" brand, a blank canvas that invites residents and travellers to add their own personal touch. It’s not a rigid corporate mark; it’s a symbol of Oia’s welcoming, open-hearted spirit.

Copywriting that invites you to slow down

To capture the peace of the village, our copywriting strategy took famous quotes from the world’s busiest cities and "Oia-fied" them. We turned the hustle and bustle of global icons into a promise of tranquillity. Whether it’s through our merch design or the signage at the town’s entrance, the message is clear: Oia is the escape you’ve been looking for.

From the trekking club to the streets

The best part of being a boutique design studio is seeing our work come to life in the hands of the community. From the local trekking club selling out their pilgrim t-shirts to the artist Flix creating a massive 2-meter version of our logo at the town’s entrance, the brand has become a part of Oia’s landscape. Seeing a whole village embrace a new identity is the ultimate reminder of why we do what we do.
